Liom Redesign

Evolving from Gen Z to a More Mature Brand

Liom was initially introduced with a vibrant identity, featuring pink tones and a design tailored for Gen Z. This style made the app feel dynamic, bold, and youthful. However, over time, Liom’s early users grew older, their needs evolved, and new personas joined the community.

At the same time, Liom’s business goals expanded, creating the need for a more professional and mature visual identity. As a result, the redesign introduced a purple and gray color scheme to evoke trust, calmness, and modernity. The user interface also became more minimalistic, ensuring a smoother experience for the new audience.

These changes have allowed Liom to remain a smart companion for its users while adapting to their evolving needs at different stages of life.

The New Visual Identity

In Lium’s redesign, the color palette was updated to Purple (#8254C6) and Gray (#8F8F8F) to create a sense of trust and modernity. Gradients were removed, keeping only the solid purple to maintain brand identity. This change made the app’s design simpler, more professional, and better aligned with the new personas.
