Project Overview
Doctor Reserve is an online appointment booking platform designed to simplify access to healthcare services for both patients and medical providers. The project focused on reducing the complexity of finding specialists, comparing doctors, and booking appointments through a clear and intuitive user experience. The platform includes both a public-facing website and dedicated dashboards for patients and doctors, creating a seamless appointment management workflow from discovery to booking.

After user-research we faced 4 major problems that severely impacted the business plan:

Complex Appointment Booking Process
Many users, especially older adults or individuals with limited digital literacy, struggle with navigating healthcare systems and booking appointments online. Existing processes often require multiple steps, causing confusion and frustration

Trust in Medical Decision-Making
Patients frequently face uncertainty when choosing a doctor or medical center due to limited access to reliable reviews, ratings, and transparent information.

Time-Consuming Healthcare Access
Traditional appointment booking methods often involve phone calls, long waiting times, or in-person visits, leading to unnecessary time and energy consumption for patients.

How I Solved Challenges

Final Design
The final product consists of a responsive healthcare platform that enables users to search for doctors, compare specialists and medical centers, view reviews, select available time slots, and manage appointments through a unified experience.
The solution also provides dedicated dashboards for patients and doctors, allowing efficient appointment tracking, schedule management, profile updates, and review management.
Outcome
The design transformed a traditionally fragmented and time-consuming healthcare booking process into a clear and accessible digital experience.
By prioritizing usability, trust, and simplicity, the platform helps users find appropriate healthcare providers more efficiently, make informed decisions with greater confidence, and complete appointment bookings with minimal effort. The resulting experience reduces friction throughout the patient journey while improving accessibility to medical services for a broader audience.
